Historic Manitou Springs

When you come stay at The Keepsake Inn, you will find yourself in the heart of lovely and historic Manitou Springs. Our amazing 120 year old home, redecorated in a Provencal theme, will accommodate 11 guests comfortably, and in a style that is conducive to your detox from everyday life. We are a full-service B&B, and we aim to cater to your every whim.

Cropping Rooms Cropping Rooms

We have two rooms dedicated to scrapbooking, stowing the gear you bring, and highlighting our guest tools for you to use as you desire. Here is where you’ll find our oh-so-comfortable crop stations. The rooms are connected by a tall, wide sliding pocket door, so if you came with a big group, you can see the rest of your gals in the other room. Our large crop room also sports a flat panel TV and DVD player. With our cable service, you can change your mind and pick up some nice music to soothe that portion of your mind not fully enveloped in your works of art.

Yes, each of these cropping tables are 3 feet by 4 feet!

Dining Room

Our dining room is lovely. We have two tables that seat 8 guests. While there is space for 4 more in the kitchen nook, we don’t anticipate all guests staying at the Inn to arise at the same time. It is likely you will brunch in the dining room, just a few short feet from your work station…can you hear those pages calling you?

Bedrooms

All our guest rooms have bedside tables with lamps and alarm clocks as well as ample storage for your overnight bag. Each guest will dream the night away in her own twin bed (no bunks!), unless you stay in the teeny-tiny room, which has a full size bed.

La Petite Salle La Petite Salle

If you like to stretch out, or you come alone, this room is for you. On the ground floor and with one full size bed and set back away from the crop rooms, you have a place to retreat to your own beautiful space.

La Salle Jumelle La Salle Jumelle

Just you and one friend? This is your spot with two twin beds. Right outside your door is the bath shared with the crop rooms. You’ll find a clawfoot tub with shower, and beautiful high ceilings. The girls still at work can run upstairs if the need arises while you take in the aroma of a bubblebath, gaze at your surroundings, and wonder about the lives of the people who used this room so long ago…

Upstairs we have three bedrooms which can accommodate 3 guests in twin beds. All 3 rooms are large enough to maneuver furniture around; if you would like an inn-room massage by a professional massage therapist, we can make those arrangements for you, and settle the bill for your services at the time of check out.

La Salle Francaise

This room is done in gold yellow and blue, has its own bath with shower, beautiful French entry doors, and sleeps 3. The view out the marvelous windows is spectacular at night.

La Salle de Couleur

Sharing a bath with La Salle Verte down the hall, this room also sleeps 3. There is access to the loo directly from the room. In the evening, the richness of the deep orange/gold walls lends a warm and peaceful glow for anyone visiting with friends or reading in bed.

La Salle Verte

Sharing a bath with the La Salle de Couleur, La Salle Verte is the smallest of our 3 bed guest rooms, but just as lovely. Nice dormer walls contribute to the coziness of this space, and you may find yourself recalling those childhood days in your own little playhouse. But don’t be fooled, this room can host an in-room massage should you so desire.

Living Room Living Room

And when you’d like time away from your work and play but don’t want to venture far, you will find comfort in our large living room. With lots of seating, you will find entertainment of a different kind…the TV and DVD player; sit back with a cup of tea or a glass of your wine, and enjoy some chick flicks! Bring your favorite, or choose from our growing collection. The hot tub is right off the living room, set back on the deck for privacy. Soak away your cares.

Need some exercise? Stretch you legs, walk a block to downtown Manitou, and do a little window shopping. Pick up something for yourself, or for someone you are finding yourself really appreciating back at home.

Hungry? Hit our snack cupboard or the buffet. Or walk into town again and check out one of the local restaurants. The streets of Manitou are made for strolling.
